JuJu foi formada em 1972 na Califórnia com músicos africanos, caribenhos e americanos que tocavam com grandes figuras como Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders, Sun Ra, Art Ens.of Chicago, etc...

“Chapter Tho: Nia” o segundo álbum gravado em 1974, marca a sonoridade da banda com jazz, batuques africanos, ritmo e poesia... 

Em 1975 mudam seu nome para Oneness of Juju lançando outros clássicos que também são indispensáveis pra quem gosta do gênero.

O álbum foi relançado com duas faixas adicionais (Live Revolution e Live Revolution Continues) que não estão no disco em vinil...
